VOIP Technical Consultant required for leading VOIP provider based in Park West, Dublin 12. This is a permanent full-time role and an opportunity to join a smart, eager, and extremely passionate team within a growing company.
This role will suit L3 Support Engineer who wants to broaden out their skills into professional services. The consultant will provide technical assistance and guidance during the pre-sales process by identifying customers technical requirements, consulting with technical teams about capabilities, and supporting business sales teams and partners on proposals.
Responsibilities
- Provide product support to partners and internal stakeholders
- Work with the development team to deploy new services and integrations
- Perform technical development for bespoke solutions as part of a design and development framework
- Provide accurate and timely management information
- Attend meetings with potential Clients to ascertain technical requirements
- Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed timeframes
Requirements
- Strong tech knowledge of TCP and UDP over IPv4 and an understanding of IPv6.
- Familiar with protocol analysis tools such as Wireshark
- Comfortable working with hosting technologies based on Linux based server systems
- Experience of technical requirements gathering for solution building
- Excellent relationship management, customer service and communication skills in a variety of forms (written, live chat, conference calls, in-person)
- Full EU drivers license
