Technical Sourcer - AR/VR

Facebook’s Specialized Technology Recruiting Team drives global hiring of professionals across Augmented and Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence for product teams such as Oculus, Spark AR, Portal, and Facebook more broadly. The goal of this team is to create and ship new, category-defining consumer hardware and software products that are immersive, social, and define our consumer’s daily experiences. We hire experts who build and drive innovation in Hardware, Software, Product, Sales, Operations, and conduct original research in our Facebook Reality Labs (FRL) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Orgs. As a Technical Sourcer on our Specialized Technology Recruiting Team, you will be responsible for defining and executing the talent acquisition strategy for a variety of senior engineering and technical roles. Your work will be instrumental in our ability to scale our business, working towards our mission to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together.
 
Technical Sourcer - AR/VR Responsibilities
  •  
     
    Taking ownership of multiple, complex searches, creating innovative sourcing strategies and engagement to bring the best talent to each role
  •  
     
    Strategize different ways to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, talent mapping, events and sourcing campaigns
  •  
     
    Find, engage and activate passive candidates through the use of Boolean, LinkedIn and alternative search techniques
  •  
     
    Develop and execute fully comprehensive hiring plans, analyzing requirements to determine target profile needs and matches
  •  
     
    Coordinate closely with recruiting team members to innovate our research strategy for talent pooling, market mapping and competitor analysis
  •  
     
    Regularly manage pipeline activity, maintain data integrity, and proactively share data-centric updates with internal stakeholders
  •  
     
    Facilitate and lead meetings, key initiatives and projects with client groups, and with the recruiting teams, that will continuously improve and scale our recruiting operations and results
  •  
     
    Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with management and key cross-functional stakeholders internally (e.g. Recruiting, HR, Compensation, and Diversity teams)
Minimum Qualifications
  •  
     
    Proven technical sourcing or full-cycle recruiting experience with in-house technical recruiting team, search firm, or agency
  •  
     
    Experience with sourcing, engaging and activating passive candidates
  •  
     
    Deep understanding of candidate care and balancing process with candidate experience
  •  
     
    Knowledge with recruiting tools, applicant tracking systems, data management/reporting techniques and software collaboration tools
  •  
     
    Experience creating and fostering partnerships with internal leadership and executive teams
  •  
     
    Experience influencing and driving towards results
  •  
     
    Experience influencing stakeholders through data analysis
Preferred Qualifications
  •  
     
    Experience sourcing and hiring for AI/AR/VR domains/companies
  •  
     
    Extensive experience sourcing for Computer Vision engineers, or Machine Learning engineers
