Technical/ Senior Technical Consultant, Salesforce Industries

We are looking to develop successful long-term relationships with all our customers - and the best way to do this is to build from strong foundations. Right from the start, we need to understand and appropriately position Salesforce Industries' place in the customer’s application ecosystem - and the Technical Consultant has the prime responsibility for making this happen.

Our Technical Consultants will become deep product experts with Salesforce Industry Cloud applications, and work closely with our Sales and Product teams to ensure customer success.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to the customer, driving conversations with business stakeholders that shape the architectural vision and establish a program direction.

You will advise and mentor diverse teams, which may include customer and partner resources, providing guidance on application and integration development best practices as well as technical product assistance.

Lead technical design sessions, architect, Proof-Of-Concept (POC) development with prospects and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives, and identify gaps between the client's current and desired end-states

You will engage with the customer and review key artifacts to keep programs on track and ensure the delivered solutions remain extendable and maintainable going forward.


Experience

  • 3+ years of experience delivering Cloud-based solutions in at least one of our target industries (energy, telecommunications, media, insurance).
  • Strong background in Cloud Computing solutions – cloud computing strategy, systems design, implementation, and management.
  • Engagement throughout the project lifecycle, ideally using Agile delivery techniques in large enterprise environments
  • Contributed to technical deliverables including configuration, working code, deployment, and QA.
  • Analysed a customer’s existing solutions, and re-engineered, migrated, and/or integrated them.
  • Good communication skills, equally comfortable with crafting documents/presentations and delivering technical demonstrations.
  • Highly technical and highly skilled in common cloud platforms / SaaS.
  • Data modeling
  • Front-end Development: JavaScript, CSS, Visual Force, LWC, Angular
  • Back-End Development: Synchronous and Asynchronous Apex, Java, Webservices, APIs, Integration technologies
  • Salesforce Core: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Objects, Security, authentication
  • DevOps
  • Performance and scalability architecture
  • Knowledge of DevOps and Release Management.
  • Familiarity with platform authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth) and security capabilities (TLS, SSL).
  • Ability to analyze potential performance and scalability issues from architectural design and in live environments.
  • Ability to effectively translate and communicate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Ability to drive projects to successful, on-time completion, and influence stakeholders and team members.

The following are not mandatory but will be an advantage:

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.
  • CPQ software ( Vlocity / Salesforce / Apttus/ Cloudsense).
