Senior Product Manager (Mobile)

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager (IC) focused on building our next generation of mobile apps across phones, tablets, and wearables. You will work closely with cross functional partners including engineering, design, user experience, customer support, and business line product managers to develop and ship features that will drive customer satisfaction and product adoption.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop knowledge of Workday’s product offerings and capabilities in the context of personas that use mobile apps.
  • Develop and demonstrate understanding and experience in product management, specifically in managing the delivery of consumer like mobile experiences.
  • Customer empathy, ability to communicate with customers effectively, and assist in driving successful implementations.
  • Review and provide constructive feedback on technical aspects of the product.
  • Ability to prioritize features, bugs, and work closely with engineering to manage remediation and release process.
  • Ownership and ability to execute with minimal direction.
  • Become the Voice of the Customer during product design sessions.
  • Clearly define and communicate product requirements in Confluence and JIRA
  • Drive product requirements and development for features that drive adoption and engagement.
  • Analyze data to establish, monitor, and measure success metrics.
  • Communicate effectively and work well with complex multi-disciplinary teams; work collaboratively across all functions of the organization to ensure successful product development and launch.
  • 5 years of post-college work experience in product management, business analysis, or software engineering.
  • Prior knowledge and experience in successfully delivering mobile apps.
  • Experience creating, launching, and communicating enterprise software product strategies. 
  • Conduct user research and data-driven experiments to inform product direction.
  • Ability to handle interpersonal relationships judiciously and professionally. 
  • Team-player attitude with eagerness to dig into the details. 
  • Technical understanding of mobile operating systems (iOS, Android), mobile architectures, and ability to build and publish reports using Tableau.

  • Partners well with internal and external stakeholders to create and deploy product, marketing, sales, and delivery strategies.
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced team including highly technical areas. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including comfort with communication with senior leadership. 
  • Ability to think about problems from different perspectives and leverage data driven analysis to drive roadmap development and prioritization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, business, or related field.
