Global Outsourcing Program Manager

We’re looking for a Global Outsourcing Program Manager to support Community Operations in growing and evolving our offshore operation. You’ll be responsible for the day to day management of building and executing against the 2021 roadmap that outlines our plans to scale operations with a third party partnership. We’re looking for someone who embodies Pinterest values, believes in building relationships and building programs with plenty of autonomy and urgency. You’ll help us fulfill that mission by working cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders , provide insight and develop a strategy that improves our program over time while maintaining a high level of performance management across various work streams. 

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the execution of the 2021 outsourcing roadmap on behalf of Community Ops and Product teams
  • Develop a partnership with third party supplier stakeholders who are directly responsible for the delivery of our services and relative KPI’s and wellness program
  • Develop strong trust and working relationships with internal & external stakeholders (Legal, Security, IT, Community Ops stakeholders, External Suppliers)
  • Track and monitor budget, incoming requests/changes to the roadmap, evaluate overall effectiveness of the outsourcing program, deliver reporting and insights that allow stakeholders and leadership to stay connected to the operation
  • Partner very closely with other Global Outsourcing team members on projects that improve the overall efficiency, quality, delivery, scalability and documentation of the program
  • A detail oriented leader with experience in project management or managing outsourcing operations 
  • A decision maker who leverages data and solid judgment to drive the program forward 
  • Experience in supplier management and the ability to  develop strong external partnerships that lead to operational excellence
  • Someone comfortable with change management and acting quickly to problem solve issues that arise, can handle pivoting to new solutions without causing friction and minimal thrash
  • An advocate who knows how to drive strategies on behalf of others, in a thoughtful and intentional way
  • Demonstrated experience with problem solving and managing escalation solutions
  • Flexibility and adaptability in order to work with various stakeholders
  • Strong executive presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate and provide reporting that quantifies operational success
