Reddit is seeking a Sr. IT Operations Specialist to help keep pace with the needs of a growing company. In this role, you will be the primary point of escalation for the AEMA region and are responsible for supporting both the IT Support team and the IT Systems team. In this position, you will find yourself with a wide range of complex problem-solving opportunities. You leverage your past experience to bring immediate value, perspective, and technical know-how to meet new challenges every day.
As a close collaborator with the IT Support team, your role is heavily weighted to solve the unplanned work that regularly lands at IT’s proverbial doorstep. You will mentor the IT Support team, identify opportunities to shed work, and reduce the overall number of tickets that need to be escalated.
When you are not playing the part of a professional firefighter, you will be supporting other IT Operation & Engineering team members with project initiatives, process improvement, and change management workflows.
