Quality Lead - Consulting Quality & Risk Management (Manager)

Consulting QRM has an excellent opportunity for a Quality Manager within our Irish Consulting business. The successful candidate will work with the QRM Director to set the direction of key quality management processes and deliver our Quality Assurance (QA) Program throughout the engagement life cycle. This will include leading core initiatives within our Consulting Delivery Excellence strategy. Working in collaboration across both the Consulting business and peers from Deloitte globally will be critical for success.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Governance, Culture, and Leadership

  • Support QRM leadership to establish local quality management policies, standards, and governance; continuously monitoring to manage quality issues and work with QRM operations to report on and ensure compliance

New Projects/ Change Initiatives

  • Lead assigned QRM projects/initiatives working with other stakeholders to define and deploy all aspects including reporting, change (communications/training), process, operating model, deployment and handover to operations

Continuous Improvement

  • Support thought leadership, by seeking new ways to deliver Consulting quality management more efficiently and effectively.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of appropriate quality management learning for Partners and Professional Staff within Consulting

Team

  • Engages with other members of the QRM team including providing training / coaching to enable them to act as support/cover when required
  • Build capability across other areas of QRM to provide support/cover to other members of the QRM team in delivery of their activities
  • History of successful projects and/or change initiative delivery
  • Proven drive and ability to build expertise in their domain
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, delivering key messages with clarity to instill confidence
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven ability to consider a diverse perspective and wide range of stakeholders when delivering solutions
  • Ability to plan, organise & prioritise workload to balance project delivery and operational needs to meet deadlines across a wide range of tasks
  • Capability to both collaborate and lead within peer group
  • Demonstrated ability to work quickly and accurately in a pressurised environment
  • Quality focused approach with a strong commitment to service excellence
  • High performing, responsible self-starter with problem solving abilities, proactive, curious and able to act on own initiative is a must
  • Experience in professional services preferable
