Our Dublin based client is looking for a Network Engineer to join their team. Excellent opportunity to get on board with a growing company.

Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Advanced Technical Architect.
• Engage in the technical solution architecture and design across multiple projects for the business, delivery excellent designs.
• Be capable of performing capacity analysis of solution components, ensuring each technical solution maintains adequate capacity to deliver as expected.
• Contribute to various reviews of the technical solutions.
• Collaborate across the business and work with multiple teams to deliver the optimal solutions that are technically sound
• Engage with customers and peers during all phases of a project
• Maintain be interested in keeping up to date with new technologies and industry trends
• Be part of the team the ensures all the technical solutions delivered are designed and delivered with a high level of security focus.
• Work under the guidance of the Advanced Infrastructure Architects to take projects from start to finish
• Must be willing to contribute to in-house R&D initiatives and learning of new technologies. Forward thinking team and company.

Experience Required

• 2/3 + years of networking experience working across a technical environment
• L2/L3 switching knowledge, IPAM, CIDR, VLAN planning and configuration etc.
• Need to have a good understanding and knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure

Essential and Desirable Skills

• Must have excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Customer facing experience would be a big advantage
• The capacity to deliver technical documentation that is detailed and clear

Educational Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science or an IT related degree
• Alternatively, if you have a lower grade of qualification with relevant experience in the field that will be considered also
• Cisco CCNA qualification / certificate, with a desire to achieving your CCNP
