HR Systems Solution Lead

 

A vacancy has arisen for a HR Systems Solution Lead at Glanbia Business Services. This position will report to the HR Systems CoE Manager. This role will be will be instrumental in defining and driving Glanbia’s HR Systems approach covering strategy, policies, standards, integrations, processes and controls.

 

Location

While likely to be initially working remotely due to current restrictions, the base location of the role will be Citywest, Dublin 24, OR Kilkenny upon return to the workplace with a blended working arrangement available through our Smart working model which allows you a greater choice in how you work and live, giving you a better work-life balance.

 

Key Elements of the Role

 

  • Designs and develops IT system solutions to HR business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards.
  • Plan, execute, and manage the integration of new applications integration technology into the existing ecosystem.
  • Presents new solutions to the architecture board for validation and approval.
  • Acting as the guardian of the solution, governing scope, solution agility and the integrity of the solution across work streams
  • Recommend process improvements and establish procedures that positively impact the organization's operation
  • Develop and maintain a solution architecture blueprint for Glanbia’s HR Systems.
  • Partners with the business during Business Case and RFP stages of a project.
  • Build relationships with software development and engineering teams to gain an understanding of application architectures and required functionality.
  • Ensure that integration planning and practices are aligned with strategic business goals and the company’s overall strategic vision.
  • Oversees internal and vendor driven development/system configurations/upgrades ensuring that application designs are consistent with industry best practices including scalability, availability, maintainability, and flexibility.
  • Participates in the project initiation process and lead/assist with developing and executing appropriate systems, applications, and/or architecture and deployment plans.
  • Collaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of newly integrated software programs and applications.
  • Liaise with software developers and engineers to address issues in program logic and the interoperability of new applications with existing systems software.
  • Technical mentoring and development of new joiners to the team where required.

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum of a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in HR Systems (SAP HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday), Payroll applications
  • Experience with in house payroll systems (SAP Payroll) or outsourced payroll solutions (ADP Workforce Now, Safeguard International).
  • Experience with 3rd Party HR systems (Benefit Administration, Retirement platforms).
  • Strong background in application and solution development.

  • Possess broad expertise in functional HR disciplines and how they are facilitated/supported by enterprise software.
