HR Data & Payroll Specialist

This role will be responsible for providing a high quality HR service to all business managers and employees in all areas of HR including:- HRIS, Data Analysis, Payroll, Corporate Compliance,  GDPR data governance and will serve as the front-line administrator for the HR function.

The HR Payroll Process will form part of this role and will interface with JLR’s external Payroll Provider.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the payroll relationship with external vendor to ensure all payroll changes are reflected accurately and monthly payroll deadlines are met.
  • Effectively carry out monthly salary audit to ensure changes are reflected correctly.
  • Responsible for maintaining the input of all employee’s records and data on HRIS
  • Manage the on-boarding & termination processes to ensure employees are managed correctly across all systems and benefit providers.
  • Administration and maintenance of the onboarding, and life-cycle management of employees.
  • Recommends and implement improved processes, analyse and report to more effectively meet the organisations HR Administration goals.
  • Ownership for managing the Expense Process for the site
  • Ownership for managing the Leave Management Database for JLR Ireland
  • Prepares HR key metrics to be presented on monthly, quarterly to the business
  • Administration of mandatory compliance programmes and reporting requirements such as corporate on-boarding training, Conflict of Interest, Code of Practices etc.
  • Third level diploma / degree in a HR or Business
  • Minimum of 3 years previous experience of a busy HR department
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  •  Ability to multi-task and work on own initiative
  • Ability to drive projects to completion
  • Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, excellent follow-through and the ability to multi-task.
  • Continuous improvement approach towards work processes.
  • Approachable, professional and able to work in a highly confidential environment
  • Previous Payroll experience will be an advantage
