MuleSoft is looking for an experienced project lead and people manager for our Training Data Strategy Team. You will have a direct impact on our success by the successful delivery in time and at a scale of Strategic and Tactical data projects by our Training Data & Integration team.
Our data & integration team is formed by amazing individuals that are all working together towards the same goal, as a key member of this team, you will help them maximize their skills, empower them, contribute to their professional development, help them prioritize, among other activities to be successful as a team and as individuals.
You will report to the Sr. Director of Global Data Strategy at MuleSoft Training and contribute to delivering our vision, goals, and objectives.
What you’ll achieve:
- Serve as the overall Project Lead for Training Data Strategy projects
- Manage a high-performing team in a rapidly growing, global organization.
- Execute on MuleSoft Training’s Data Strategy
- Provide oversight of strategy, technical, and transition management aspects
- Assess the business impact of different solutions
- Prioritize and execute based on different variables in a constantly evolving environment
- Mentor and Coach
- 5+ years in project management
- 3+ years of experience in data or analytics
- Project Management Methodology Certification such as Prince, PMP, SAFe, Scrum
- Experience in leading teams of data analysts and/or engineering.
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Strong analytical and quantitative skill
- Experience overseeing and implementing roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary to achieve results
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
- Experience managing a global team
- Demonstrated ability to decompose significantly complex technical propositions into straightforward solutions.
- Experience with technical and business process flows, requirements, and documentation
- Strong experience in facilitating discussions with a broad range of stakeholders across leadership levels (associate to senior directors)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
- Demonstrated ability to have fun and inspire team members to enjoy work, be action-oriented, and stretch their imagination
- Knowledge and experience with data management, API integrations, or data governance
- Strong presentation skills
