Role:
We are currently seeking to hire a number of Data Governance Managers to join our Applied Intelligence competency within our Management Consulting team, based in Dublin. We are looking for professionals with data management expertise, coupled with strong communication skills and people management skills, dedicated to becoming leaders in their fields.
We ideally need you to have the following on your CV:
- At least six years’ experience in data management and/or data governance solutions.
- Demonstrated experience advising on data frameworks and best practice for a range of clients.
- Experience in Data Quality, Data Cataloging, Data Protection or Metadata Management.
- Relevant certification (e.g. DAMA, ICCP)
- Experience with data management initiatives in the areas of policy and procedure, data inventories, data lineage, data quality measurement or remediation preferred.
- A strong understanding of GDPR.
Your work will be varied. Below will be some of your core responsibilities:
- Designing processes around operational structures for governance.
- Helping to set up data management office or implementation of data governance in complex organisations.
- Reviewing existing data operations and suggesting changes where necessary to mature data management and governance activities.
- Articulating the vision, the necessity, and benefits of the design to both data and non-data literate resources
