realTime recruitment are seeking an experienced Test Engineer for a completely remote position.
This is for a permanent position with an exciting Fintech company that focuses on payments. They are taking the globe by storm and despite not being a household name in Ireland, they have partnered up with some of the best-known payment brands across the globe.
- 5+ years' in a Test Engineer position
- Clear understanding of software engineering concepts and test practices
- Coding/scripting experience
- Demonstrated use of BDD/TDD frameworks (e.g JUnit, JBehave, Cucumber etc)
- Experience in regression testing
- Experience in testing Web Services, Web UI and APIs
- Able to create acceptance and integration test automation scrips and integrate with Continuous Integration (e.g. Jenkins)
- Understanding of Linux/Unix
- Clear understanding of Continuous Delivery concepts (Jenkins/Bamboo)
- Experience in taking a risk-based approach
- Strong knowledge of traditional testing and how it applies to an Agile environment
- Excellent communication skills
