Business Applications delivery, using the Microsoft Business Applications Platform (Dynamics 365 and Power Platform) is a key service that Ergo Offers. We are seeking a suitably experienced Solutions Consultant with knowledge of the Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (Sales, Service & Marketing) and the Microsoft Power Platform. As a Solutions Consultant in Business Applications you will be working with our sales and delivery teams and operating as a Solutions Consultant for customer solutions.

The role is primarily customer facing and will require the correct candidate to provide independent and expert consultancy, primarily in CRM workloads: Sales & Marketing, Customer Service, Field Service and Power Platform.

The role will sit within a team of Technical Sales Consultants - Solution Consultants. That team will be the starting point for all new Technical Solutions that feed in through our Sales team or through direct customer contact.

To be able to architect Cloud and managed services solutions for our customer base you will need to have the following attributes and experience. You will be tasked with architecting Business Application solutions (Dynamics 365/CRM and Power Platform) to our customer base. You will do so through workshop sessions with both internal Ergo and Customer teams to arrive at a solution aligned to customer requirements. You will also build Proof of Concept solutions as required to allow our customers to begin to realise the benefits of the solution.

The Solution Consultant team operates as a Centre of Excellence where the team works individually or collaboratively with colleagues or partners to provide complete Technical Architecture for a given solution.

Main Responsabilities:

• Work at the core of the Centre of Excellence for Microsoft Business Application solutions
• Solution Architecting, design and planning
• Play a key role in the sales delivery cycle, from prospect to workshops to architecting, documenting and presenting
• Evangelise the benefits of Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform to prospects, existing customers and internal stakeholders.
• Be a "trusted expert advisor" when needed - Maintain an 'up-to-date' expert level of knowledge of Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform.
• Work with our partner organisations and internal teams to architect and price solutions
• Design and present innovative solutions to customers
• Support the response to technical tenders to agreed timelines
• Devise technical presentations for the team where required
• Liaise with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure divisional projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Escalate issues to the relevant stakeholder in a timely manner.
• Investigate, identify and report on new solutions that will benefit the Cloud and Managed Services offerings and take appropriate steps to upskill accordingly.
• Work closely with relevant personnel within all Practices and provide advice, support and consultancy on related technical deals/projects where required
• The candidate will be expected to take on expert level certifications.

Experience Required:

Ideally over 5 years' experience of working as a Technical Architect within a professional services environment, or as a presales/ technical sales consultant

• Solution Architecting experience
• Solution implementation experience with complex IT solutions and services of the following items:
  • Dynamics 365
  • Power Platform
  • Basic Azure Configurations
  • Understanding of Modern Workplace concepts
• Cloud and security best practices
• Experience in implementing complex IT solutions and resultant managed services
• Strong business, commercial and risk management awareness with proven ability in the application of technical design governance.
• Technical consultancy experience covering a variety of clients, a formal solution design and development methodology, formal project lifecycle experience, and experience of leading the technical design and implementation of a number of significant projects.
• Experience of working in multiple verticals including the financial services industry.
