We are embarking on an eight-year global Business Transformation programme enabled by SAP S/4HANA. This is a greenfield implementation for Sandvik, a large Swedish multinational group. There is an ongoing business digitalisation initiative which we call the “Seamless Flow” - initiative. We will create a SAP Centre of Excellence (CoE) with responsibility to support the business programs and manage the application thereafter.

We are now recruiting for a SAP Reporting & Data Lead for a permanent role in our Dublin or Tempere Office.

JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of the SAP Reporting & Data Lead role is to support the business in defining their reporting needs and then managing the translation of these requirements into detailed SAP S/4HANA reporting designs. The individual is expected to manage the delivery of these designs through the development / enhancement of SAP S/4HANA reporting and embedded analytics solutions.

This role should have proven capability of working with business stakeholders to drive the adoption of standard S/4HANA reporting solutions and Fiori applications, to maximize the value contribution of the S/4HANA investment. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take overall responsibility for the definition of the SAP based reporting and embedded analytics strategy.
• Determine the reporting and analytics principles and standards that need to be complied with for the programme and beyond
• Develop and maintain the strategy for extracting and consolidating SAP data for analytical applications in applications outside of S/4HANA
• Work closely with business functions to understand and define system requirements for reporting, embedded analytics and Fiori Apps.
• Lead the project-based solution design, development and implementation of SAP S/4HANA based reporting solutions
• Lead SAP S/4HANA data modelling efforts and provide hands-on technical expertise on overall architecture, technical design, configuration, development and implementation of the proposed solutions
• Ensure design documentation and operational instructions are captured to meet IT operations expectations
• Responsible for root cause analysis and providing solutions for SAP S/4HANA reporting production and development issues
• Provide ongoing guidance on SAP reporting setup and enforce data governance standards and processes
• Consistently improve SAP S/4HANA reporting practices and implementations
• Drive adoption of S/4HANA reporting and analytics for greater utilization across business functions.
• Manage the knowledge repository for SAP based reporting resources that can be accessed by the business to aid in their usage of the SAP solutions
• Manage the delivery of ongoing training to business end users on the SAP based reporting and analytics capabilities
• Drive evaluations and recommendation of new SAP based reporting and analytics solutions / technologies
• Review solution architectures implemented by projects and ensure designed architectures meet industry standards and quality reviews
• Over time build the internal Sandvik SAP reporting and analytics capability and teams required to service the business needs

You are hands-on and have 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role preferably in S/4HANA reporting technologies and Fiori Apps. You have a broad understanding of a range of functional areas in SAP. You are educated to degree level or equivalent.

S/4HANA training will be provided to a candidate with a background in SAP ECC.
