Infrastructure Consultant Contract Ireland 6-12 Months. My client a leading global firm is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Infrastructure Consultant to join their group on a contract basis.
The main focus of this role will be focused on consulting, and leading application deployments in my clients internal DMZ zones. Good understanding on infrastructure and technology (Compute, Storage, Networking). Working understanding of the concepts and usage of Firewalls, load balancing, and application topologies. You will have good project management skills are essential including managing and leading programs and initiatives as this will require working with cross product teams to coordinate the existing DMZ application onboarding design process. You will need to analyse internal customer business goals, objectives, needs and apply my client best practices and standards to these to achieve a successful outcome.
Successful candidates will have technical competence across compute, storage, and Network across a range of cloud technologies. You will be comfortable across the infrastructure stack - technology including compute, storage, virtualisation, and networking. You will have ability to work in a complex environment with competing demands. You will have a good technical knowledge of security concepts and practice. You will have experience of networking architecture. You will have a working knowledge of virtualised systems such as servers, Virtual networks and virtual firewalls. You will have Securing Internet facing systems servers and applications in a DMZ environment. You will be working with and understanding high level architectural diagrams.
