Global Leasing - Senior Leasing Officer, Global Vendor Finance

Bank of America Global Vendor Finance provides customer financing programs for leading capital equipment manufacturers, software developers, distributors, and service providers, working primarily with clients of Bank of America’s Global Corporate Bank that have revenues in excess of $2 billion.  GVF's wide variety of program structures and capabilities help our clients differentiate themselves from competitors, create incremental sales, enhance cash flows, and increase market share and profits.  GVF executes individual transactions ranging from $100,000 to $50 million plus.

Global Vendor Finance is a division of Bank of America Global Leasing, the largest U.S. equipment financing company, serving over 65,000 clients worldwide. We have $69 billion in total assets, and have a significant global presence, with nearly 1,000 associates.  Together with our affiliated companies, we provide equipment financing solutions to small and middle market businesses, large corporations and government entities, offering product expertise in vendor finance, aviation, healthcare, energy services and renewable energy.

 

Essential Functions:

Highly motivated, experienced relationship manager responsible for the management of multiple key vendor client relationships as well as developing and growing new programs.  Accountable for all aspects of the client relationship, including overall account strategy, capturing growth opportunities, and working with a cross-functional team to deliver industry-best service.   

This position is posted as a Director/Sr Leasing Officer, but is flexible to be filled as a Vice President/Leasing Officer based on the skill set/experience of the candidate.

Preferred Education:

Undergraduate degree in finance preferred.

  • Deep expertise in vendor finance, preferably within a large, regulated financial institution
  • In-depth knowledge of vendor program structure, design and documentation
  • German and English speaker is preferred
  • Exceptional client management skills
  • Expertise in credit, finance, accounting and pricing matters
  • Team-oriented and collaborative disposition, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong, cross-functional relationships
  • In-depth leasing industry knowledge including competitive environment, economic conditions, client behavior and market trends
  • High level understanding of the IT industry
  • Comprehensive understanding of the current regulatory environment, and ability to operate in a compliant manner
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office software applications
  • Travel - 20%
