SUMMARY & ROLE INFORMATION

As the Service Owner of the Secure Workstation Services Team in Workplace Delivery, you and your fellow colleagues are responsible for delivering, managing and supporting the secure administrative workstation environment across all SAP environments. The team utilizes the latest Windows 10 operating system, Microsoft security toolsets and Microsoft Endpoint Management services to provide next level security for administrators accessing SAP's most critical infrastructure services. As a senior team member, you will be a subject matter expert in one or more topics (Windows OS hardening, supply logistics, Patching, deployment, etc) while supporting the day to day operations during the European time zone. 

You will coordinate the efforts of the team, working with stakeholders and peers across the Client Technology Workplace organization. The position requires the following skills: project management, process management, communication and presentation skills.  The position is responsible for the effective running of the Secure Workstation Service globally, with a team of subject matter experts located across the globe.

 EXPERIENCE / ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines or similar work experience
  • Security + certification or equivalent
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years experience configuring and delivering Microsoft Windows devices to end users, with recent experience hardening the Windows 10 operating system
  • Minimum 8 years experience deploying Microsoft Windows with System Center Configuration Manager or Microsoft Intune (Microsoft Endpoint Manager)
  • Powershell, Advanced Level
  • Microsoft Windows OS troubleshooting, Expert Level
  • Previous experience working in a large organization supporting users across mulitple time zones and countries
