TwitterLive Programme Manager, EMEA

As part of the TwitterLive, your responsibilities will mainly involve technical understanding and troubleshooting of video and events platforms at Twitter. You will work closely with members of the Customers Org teams, providing world-class support to our brands and publishers, helping them resolve issues relating to their live activations with Twitter Media Studio and our analytics dashboards. You will be a part of an ongoing on-call rotation to prepare and provide support to those brands and publishers taking part in the live activations, whether it be with Samsung announcing their newest flagship device, Ford unveiling their new vehicle, or #NBATwitterLive basketball season coverage.

You will also have the opportunity to lead cross-functional projects that ultimately encourage the use of our tools and services with the top advertisers and publishers across brands, sports, music and entertainment. This will be in the form of trainings, webinar and instructional video recordings, and meetings over video conferencing. You will occasionally work with Product, Engineering, and Curation teams to understand ongoing partner issues, as well as help test and plan for launches of new product features.

What You’ll Do

This role is embedded with the Revenue Product Specialist Team and services the TCS sales teams as our customers to understand client goals & objectives, recommend best practices, identify opportunities for new revenue growth, and craft creative solutions.

  • Take part in an on-call rotation, acting as the face of the team for partners going live with activations each week (both recurring and for special ad-hoc events).  
  • Troubleshoot technical issues on a daily basis, and determine the root causes of customer issues, escalating to Engineering teams as needed.  Write clear, detailed documentation meant for both internal employees and hundreds of our external partners
  • Present and demonstrate our tools during 1:1 partner sessions or larger partner meet-ups at a Twitter office or on a partner campus.
  • Work well both by yourself and with the wider team -- depending on whether you are on-call or part of a cross-functional project Work cross-functionally with various global Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams across Twitter
  • Drive projects that advance OKRs set by the Publisher Products team, as well as the wider Consumer Products team Qualifications


 

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in video technologies (produced VOD or live)
  • A solid understanding of the livestreaming landscape, including Twitter’s own livestreaming solutions
  • Interest and capacity to mentor team members and champion growth
  • Willingness to adapt to a flexible work schedule and support different regions and timezones as needed
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a deadline driven, fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of program management best practices and ability to apply those to real-world situations.
  • Problem solving: Ability to structure solutions to complex and undefined issues, deep analytical ability and polished business acumen
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across multiple internal disciplines Business Tools such as Docs, Powerpoint, Keynote, Excel
