JOB PURPOSE

The Test Lead will support the Program Test Manager to manage the full test scope including function testing, integration testing, stress and performance testing, regression testing and user acceptance testing.

The role will be expected to follow the best practice testing methodologies and technology solutions and maintain a high quality, professional standard for all testing done in the program.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support with creation and maintenance of Test Plan, Test scripts, Test data
• Follow & track the daily testing activities working with Test manager for all phases of testing.
• Collaborate with the functional, data migration and business teams ensuring that they execute all phases of testing to a high standard in accordance with testing best practices defined in the Test strategy.
• Monitor and manage testing progress and quality gate parameters (entry exit criteria), working with the Test Manager to mitigate and manage risks through timely execution
• Chair the defect management calls during Test execution phase. Manage the process for defect recording, assessment, reporting, re-testing and closure for all phases of testing using Solution Manager, Test suite (Testing Tool).
• Support the Test Manager to track connected systems (non-SAP) testing activities and test deliverables.
• Support the Test manager to track the automation of testing activities.
• Support the Test manager to track & report the various test metrics, KPI’s and reports during test execution throughout all phases of the programme
• A good understanding of how Test data flows between various modules is required, as the test lead will be closely working with the data team, functional teams & the testing team to help identify and facilitate test data required for various phases of testing.

You are a highly motivated, delivery focused individual with a strong understanding of defect management process and test data management. You have hands on experience in similar roles in the past and exposure to SAP Solution Manager Test suite & Focus Build will be a bonus. You have 5+ years SAP Test Lead Experience and a Good understanding of all phases of testing of an SAP implementation such as, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, stress/performance testing, regression testing. You have a can-do attitude and thrive on working in a multi-cultural team environment. You have excellent inter-personal skills and strong communication skills. You are educated to degree level in IT or equivalent. Testing foundation qualifications (e.g. ISTQB/ISEB. TOSCA, etc). Candidates who have attended Solman training take preference.
