Automation/ QA Engineer

Test Automation Architect

You will

  • Design test strategies covering both functional and non-functional capabilities
  • Select and develop test automation tools, applying the latest techniques in test automation
  • Provide active technical leadership throughout the entire development process, including reviewing acceptance criteria, reviewing test cases and test automation code, setting up environments, and communicating with the project team on defects, issues, and QA status.
  • Evaluate test cases for inclusion in regression and automation of newly integrated features.

To be successful in the role you must have

  • A degree or post graduate qualification in computer science
  • 5+ years’ experience developing test strategy and architectures for complex products
  • 7+ years’ experience automation engineering practise, including 3+ years with cloud native products ( microservice based architecture, k8s, docker )
  • Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment methodologies
  • Experience developing and executing automated test suites using CI tools like Jenkins.
  • Thorough understanding and hands on experience in developing, enhancing automation testing frameworks.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities
