Technical Project Manager

Your Role:

  • You will work closely with infrastructure, development, QA and business teams to manage successful delivery of project deliverables within the constraints of schedule, scope and budget
  • You will create and maintain all project management artifacts for projects per the Citco IT governance and Bank IT standards including the following:
    • Project plan
    • Status reports
    • Software artifacts in JIRA, confluence and SharePoint
    • Project Risks & Issues
  • You will manage stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively to all stakeholders from senior project stakeholder to project team members
    • Conduct regular meetings with the necessary project team members to understand progress on tasks/progress
    • Conduct regular status updates to key stakeholders including senior management to provide visibility of status, risks and issues.
    • Liaise with external vendors as required to ensure successful structures are in place for optimal project delivery.
  • You will work with managers across infrastructure, development, QA and program management to prioritize activities, address risks/issues and manage resources efficiently
  • You will work with Bank IT teams and project stakeholders to build a collaborative, productive, and engaged team environment. Drive accountability towards critical milestones and deadlines.
  • You will anticipate and address potential or actual impediments to team delivery and administer metrics tracking and other duties on behalf of the team.

About You:

  • You have minimum of 5 years of experience with vendor implementation, in-house application development and infrastructure experience preferably in a financial institution environment
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of solid practical experience in managing complex projects
  • You have experience of with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft project
  • You have demonstrated knowledge and skills in the following competencies: project management, information technology, creativity, business analysis, data analytics, problem solving, change/release management, multi-tasking and service management
  • You have demonstrated strong proficiency in interpersonal/communication skills including oral and written English
  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems or equivalent
  • You are effective planning and organizational experience to set priorities and coordinate projects to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
