About the Role

Come help evolve the heart of our application development tooling organisation. This senior product hire will come with validated work experience in programming languages, compilers, IDEs, and other application development, test, and deployment tooling domains.

You will work closely with existing teams of senior engineers and architects to complete the development and release of key parts of our rapidly growing application development environment. The right person will have both deep engineering and a career curiosity about product management, along with the desire to lead the product direction.

Responsibilities:

• Work with engineers on the effective design t and usable implementation of each story, epic and theme.Quickly come up to speed on our current development platform.
• Coordinate with project and program managers to rollout new improvements and refine the platform based on continual feedback.
• Support the architecture of our new application development tools
• Work with internal application development teams to ensure their understanding and rapid adoption of new tooling.
• Take ownership, groom and maintain/author prioritised scrum backlog of themes, epics and stories in prioritised order.
• Coordinate with fellow product owners to deliver sophisticated cross team improvements that positively impact the productivity of our entire development organisation.

Basic Qualifications

Product Manager -

• 3+ years experience in a Technical Product Manager role

Senior Product Manager -

• 5+ years experience in a Technical Product Manager role

Other Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant work experience
• Domain specific language design / use
• Build management / tool chain
• Integrated Development Environments (IDE)
• SaaS deployment
• Application developer (Java, C/C++, C#, Objective C, Python, JavaScript)
• Object Oriented Design / UML modelling
• HTTP, HTML, JSON and other key web standards
• Experience with SaaS and PaaS
• Knowledge of various PaaS vendors and offerings

Skills:

• Ability to manage outcomes through others / motivate / influencing / driving
