My client, a leader in their space, are seeking a Technical Lead to join their team on an initial 12 month contract, with view to extend long term.
You will be working on an exciting Greenfield project within a new team and this project is confirmed to roll on for a number of years!
Based in Dublin, my client are offering a flexible approach to hybrid working as well as a lucrative daily rate.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of developers to ensure that design, specifications and code meet best practices
- Communicate with various stakeholders across the organisation
- Contribute to all phases of the SDLC (design, implementation, unit testing, integration and release)
- Work with Solution Architects and Product teams to gain an in-depth understanding of current requirements
- Develop POCs and perform code reviews
- 10+ years experience as Developer
- Previous experience as a technical lead or in a leadership position
- Strong Java background - Java, Spring, Springboot
- Exceptional database experience (PL/SQL, SQL etc)
- Exceptionally strong communication skills - this is a client facing role so you MUST be able to communicate requirements and ask questions
