In this role, you will lead the Content & Work Hub team within the ITLTP Applications & Software Engineering Group. This team is focused on driving retention of the IT Leader role by helping clients make faster, smarter decisions about their digital workplace applications, employee experience technologies and develop a vision for the future of work.
The team collaborates within IT Leaders and Technical Professionals end-user research (ITLTP), CIO Research, Technology & Service Provider Leaders (TSP) and Gartner for HR Leaders (GHRL) to bring consistent, compelling, and contextualized guidance to clients. As their leader, you will continue to evolve the team’s vision and mission and be a connector for your analysts within ITLTP and throughout Gartner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead your team by hiring, training, coaching and providing continuous performance feedback to your direct reports. Inspire exceptional performance from your team, with continuous improvement and a focus on client impact.
- Drive content innovation within the team and ensure the creation of high-quality, distinctive and enduring intellectual property. Work with Content Leaders to drive the research agenda forward.
- Champion, coach, and ensure that deliverables delight clients and prospects in all interactions your team conducts. This is particularly important for inquiries or consultations, live or virtual interactions and events, and Sample Inquiry meetings with prospective clients. Empower your team to improve their capacity to support clients, as their needs evolve.
- Coach your team to operate within the Gartner business model, mission critical priorities and financial goals. Apply them consistently in decision-making. Create integrated strategies and value propositions. Connect and leverage resources across Gartner to support team learning and effectiveness.
- Experience in a Gartner Research leadership role (e.g., TM, Chief of Research or Key Initiative Leader) or previous management experience outside of Gartner preferred.
- Current TMs seeking to stretch by tackling a new content area are encouraged to apply.
- 10+ years of experience working in a Research or Advisory related role
- Advanced analytical skills and the ability to apply a data-driven approach to decision making.
- Strong coaching skills that utilize your excellent leadership, knowing the right things to do and prioritizing them accordingly, being a powerful communicator, and enjoying the experience of building high performing teams.
