Talent Acquisition Manager - 12 Month Contract - Huawei Research Centre

Our mission is to position Huawei as a recognized technology leader and a global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) solutions. To achieve this we are building an industry-recognized multi-discipline Research Center of experts with focus on medium-term to long-term issues. Huawei Ireland Research Centre (IRC) will work closely with an open innovative ecosystem with Huawei customers to address real-world issues.

As the Talent Acquisition Manager you will be responsible for the following;

  • Develop sustainable talent acquisition, as well as hiring plans and talent strategies
  • Engage effectively with all stakeholders in the strategic resource planning process
  • Design, plan and execute campus recruitment plan, contribution to local talent ecosystem. Attend career and college fairs, and similar events
  • Manage the agency channel of the research center, maintain connections and manage performance.
  • Source and find candidates qualified for High-end open positions
  • Leverage digital, social media and physical channels to create, drive and maintain our employment brand presence
  • Work closely with Hiring Managers throughout the process to ensure effective candidate assessments, a positive candidate experience & successful selection of top talent for all positions
  • Monitor and the company’s employee referral program
  • Find and report on bottlenecks in the recruiting process
  • Lead and oversee the company’s recruitment plans, partner with the existing outsourced recruitment model at Huawei
  • Plan and agree recruiting KPIs and present KPI reports
  • Suggest measures for improving employee retention – with regards development and career progression
  • Stay informed of legislation (GDPR), recruiting trends and innovative recruiting, onboarding and training techniques.

This is contract position based in Dublin, Townsend Street.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience as TA Manager or similar HR role
  • In-depth knowledge of full-cycle recruiting and employer branding techniques
  • Hands on experience with posting jobs on social media and job boards
  • Experience with HRIS, ATS, Sourcing and Recruitment Marketing tools
  • A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player and good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
