Fund Services Technology team under ICG Securities Services is building new capabilities for gaining competitive advantage, operational efficiencies and growing regulatory needs.
The role involves being part of a dynamic team and contributing towards the product rollout and solution delivery primarily within Fund accounting. This role will provide opportunity to manage work that is strategic and/or has cross-functional impact in a Business-aligned PM organization. This is not a role within PMO (Project Management Office).
The ideal candidate will be a strong PM with experience in delivery of key projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Management of IT Program and / or multiple projects – being the single point of contact for Operations and Product Management partners, Organizational PMO and senior management, in context of Program / Projects managed.
- Oversight of the deliverables & resources distributed across many different technology teams, as well as Operations and Product Management teams. The teams are distributed across multiple time zones.
- Validating that adequate personnel, expertise and infrastructure are available to realistically achieve the stated project goals, securing those resources, and managing risks when they are not.
- Engagement of appropriate stakeholders across Technology, Operations, and Product Management to ensure full understanding of project goals and challenges. The PM must manage expectations and create clear agreement among stakeholders, defining the success criteria at the onset of the Program / project.
- Effectively accounting for all work deliverable to external clients and to internal partners, within Citi's systems of records
- Developing understanding in the project subject matter that is sufficient to accurately understand project goals and success criteria, to meaningfully contribute to issue resolution, and knowledgably represent the Program / Project to stakeholders.
- Ensuring adherence to and develop best practices supporting Citi’s Program and Project Management Standards
- Creation and management of milestones, both Business Critical and non-Business Critical Milestones. Business Critical Milestones must follow the strict governance procedures established by the OPMO.
- Ensuring appropriate development life cycle is followed and to create artifacts to support internal and external audits
- Identification of risks to and issues in Program / Project performance.
- Development, in collaboration with relevant SMEs, of risk and issue mitigation strategies. The PM must drive the response and manage it to completion.
- Providing regular written and verbal updates to senior management regarding Program / Projects being managed, per organizational standards.
- Managing scope – Functional Requirements / Scrum Boards / Kanban Boards, and ascertaining that requirements are testable
- Create meeting minutes and meeting schedules
- Ensure organizational / Operational readiness for implementation of projects

Knowledge/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS);
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in financial or technology sector as IT Program Manager or IT Project Manager;
- 5+ years of Project Management experience significant experience across the full project lifecycle;
- Strong Stakeholder Management Skills;
- Proven delivery record of multiple projects involving process change and technology enhancements
- Ability to handle complex projects independently.
“Must have” Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, PLANVIEW / equivalent tools
- Proficiency with Agile development tools such as JIRA or Rally
- Ability to summarize the expectations, decisions and actions resulting from key conversations and publishing them to larger group of stakeholders in a manner that can be easily understood.
