Sr. Scrum Master

We're looking for a Scrum Master and Team Coach who is passionate about empowering teams and evangelizing agile principles throughout the company. Our teams follow the Scrum framework, roles, and ceremonies. The ideal candidate will have the experience and excitement to continuously grow the way we develop and deliver Norton products worldwide.

Responsibilities

Act as Scrum Master for one to three teams, providing a growth-minded environment to deliver customer value and embodying servant leadership.

Challenge, coach, and guide the teams and organization using agile and lean principles.

Emphasize delivered value and code quality through small, focused user stories.

Experiment with and foster a culture that encourages continuous improvement.

Create information radiators to provide teams and the organization with relevant feedback.

Possess a BS / MS Computer Science or equivalent degree.

2 to 3 yeaCertified Scrum Master (CSM). Understand fundamentals of iterative development.

Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, practices, and rules.

Understand other processes and methodologies and can speak intelligently about them and leverage other techniques to provide value to a team/enterprise.

Understand fundamentals of software development processes and procedures.

Understand the value of commitments to delivery made by a development team.

Understand incremental delivery and its value

Understand backlog tracking, burndown metrics and velocity

 

Preferred Qualifications

Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)

Agile Coaching Certification (CSC, ICP-ACC) or equivalent

Bachelor or master’s degree, or equivalent work experience.

At least 5+ year’s work experience in the Scrum Master role.

Other Certifications: CSPO, SAFe-SA / SPC

Jira and Confluence experience a plus.rs of industry experience or New grad with intern experience

Solid software engineering skills are a must.  Strong competencies in algorithms, software design, data structures, client/server design.

Possess deep technical knowledge of mobile application development and testing (Android preferred)

Have familiarity with Android OS implementation and frameworks

Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, Kotlin & C/C++

Experience with one or more scripting languages like Python, or JavaScript.

Familiarity with Agile methodology

Experience with Git, Jenkins, Conan, CMake, Android Studio desired

Familiarity in designing scalable UI frameworks a definite plus

Having published their own apps for Android a definite plus.
