The Enterprise Frameworks team builds common frameworks and applications that are shared across the Workday Application Suite and allow users to engage with Workday. These products are embedded within the Workday applications and extended as required. We believe that the quality of our products is a team effort, and in your role, you'll be working side by side with Engineering and Product teams to deliver high-quality features and business value to our customers!
About the Role
The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will act as a lead for quality assurance activities to develop and execute software test plans for a product or technical area. The Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer will also build and provide input into automation deliverables. You can formulate and advocate for best practices and processes necessary for the team and strengthen domain knowledge in key framework products like business process and organizations.
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance working in automated and manual testing techniques/approaches.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar
- Technically strong and also able to understand functional user experience
- Strong experience in designing test strategy along with developing test plans for different types of testing like acceptance, regression etc.
- Hands-on experience of Web services standards ( SOAP and REST)
- Hands-on experience in any automation tool or language.
- Proven experience of leading QA activities for a technical area by taking ownership and accountability for QA deliverables
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on quality assurance testing, preferably in Enterprise Applications
- Candidates must have willingness to learn automation and function as hybrid on both functional testing and automation
- Proactively engages and drives the meet the team to meet deliverables
- Be process and detail oriented while capable of managing different project priorities
- Coaching and mentoring to less experienced team members
