Sr. Competitive Intelligence Manager

As a Senior Competitive Intelligence Manager, you will provide actionable competitive intel and insights to help Sage win against key competitors, plan for the future, respond to immediate threats/opportunities and grow market share. You will also support strategic initiatives such as the Sage Market Model, growth squads and annual planning. 

• Lead the collection, analysis and reporting of competitive insights, incorporating primary and secondary, qualitative and quantitative data that generates actionable insights for teams across Sage. 
• Function as internal consultant to growth squads, product, marketing, sales and executives to provide insight relative to the competitive landscape. 
• Use competitor announcements, news, review sites, analyst reports and other published sources to build and communicate a detailed understanding of key competitors’ strategies, offerings, GTM activities, and performance. 
• Create playbooks, KPI summaries, sales presentations, news alerts, and other internal or customer-facing assets to help marketing, sales and partners win in competitive situations. 
• Establish and leverage win/loss analyses and reporting to consistently help refine messaging and sales and partner enablement materials. 
• Regularly source third party data to support the Sage market model, squads, and strategic planning initiatives. 
• Abide by and enforce Competitive Insights legal and ethical guidelines with internal stakeholders and sales teams. 
• Manage the budget allocation to projects.
