Senior Testing Automation Analyst

Job Description

We are recruiting for a Senior Testing Automation Analyst to support our Control Framework and Governance Function to automate manual testing and identify weaknesses and breakdown in controls through the effective use of data analysis and robotic automation

 

Role Overview

Senior Testing Automation Analyst as a member of Payment Services Chief Risk Office is responsible for the following:

  • Identifying and updating existing manual controls and through creation of new controls automate test cases by running automation / analysis.
  • Creating tables and SQL to enable internal user interaction and effective data results usage.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to validate source material through Optical Character Recognition.
  • Partner with teams within Control Framework and Governance and the broader Business Line teams to solve problems and identify trends and opportunities to bring together multiple ideas from various parts of the organization to solve a common problem.
  • Providing reports and analysis to allow testing and assessment of major initiatives and potential impact on Customers.
  • Analyze data, conduct research and synthesize feedback into the wider teams which include non-technical stakeholders and preparing summaries and presentations for senior management team.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
  • Maintain an audit code to ensure on going repeatable and continued reliability.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree.
  • 3+ years of experience with programming languages, especially for data manipulation Python, SQL and SAS. (Pandas, R, JavaScript an advantage), with experience both writing and running automated tests.
  • Proficiency in querying and manipulating complex raw datasets for analysis using data analysis tools (experience in a large financial institution an advantage)
  • Professional experience with reporting systems, data pipeline architecture, data modelling, and automation.
  • Effective task management, strong fact-based communication skills, strong presentation skills, problem solving and analytical ability.
  • Ability to cooperate with all levels of management to multi-task in an ever-changing environment and to adjust quickly to shifting priorities
  • Ability to work independently and part of a virtual team in a self-directed manner and highly motivated to tackle challenging problems.
  • Fluent English
  • Nice to have – Knowledge in regard to compliance/risk regulations and auditing principles.
