Key Responsibilities:
- You will be hands-on in designing test cases from acceptance criteria and automating the designed test cases
- You will be a key person within the team for prioritising defects found and generating a testing report
- You will ensure that test automation is reducing the manual testing efforts by prioritising test cases to be automated
- The ideal candidate for this role will take responsibility for the quality of their own deliverables, always striving to improve our client’s products
- Optimise for scalability, efficiency and maintainability in a practical way
- Understand the need for software re-usability and have a strong customer and product focus
- Degree/ MSc in Computer Science or equivalent
- ISTQB Foundation Level would be an advantage
- 6 years plus hands-on software quality assurance experience
- Strong testing experience with web, mobile and API based applications
- Strong test automation experience with: Kotlin/Groovy/Java and one or more of IntelliJ, Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, Appium, Cucumber/Allure or similar, Git, Jenkins, Browserstack or similar, JMeter
- Ability to use TestRail or other test case management systems
- Ability to use different testing techniques as and when needed
- Understanding of non-functional testing, specifically performance and security
