My Dublin based client is looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
Job Responsibilities
- Review multiple element of delivery project with the intent of improving the overall project delivery
- Review architecture, requirements, code and configuration for require projects
- Ensure quality standards are met
- Update general recommendations on coding standards, common errors and best practices
- Draw up reports on key trends and issues found during the SA review analysis Interface with the Product and Test Groups regarding product releases and new features
- Performance testing
Experience Required
- Minimum of 5 years experience in software quality assurance function
- Functional and performance analysis experience
- Expertise of writing unit, integration, systems and performance tests
- Must have knowledge of test patterns associated with micro services architecture
- Project Management experience and knowledge of agile software development lifecycle
- Experience working on multi-threaded applications
- Understanding of telecom networks and OSS/BSS applications is a big plus
Essential and Desirable Skills
- Must have experience in test automation and its tools – for example JMeter, JUnit, K6, Cucumber, Karate
- Strong working experience in Unix/Linux
- Java, Python, SQL experience
- Familiar with cloud and DevOps pipelines – Docker, Kubernetes
- Scripting experience, e.g shell, tcl, DCL, Perl
- Jenkins, Spinnaker, Helm
Educational Requirements
- Relevant Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent degree
- 37.5 hours per week
