Senior Product Owner (Payments) required for a global technology company. The Irish office is based in Limerick although this role can be a remote working role from anywhere in Ireland with occasional visits to Limerick
This role will suit a Product Manager / Senior Product Owner coming from a payment gateway / merchant services product environment. This is an exciting opportunity to help create and deliver a new high-quality digital payment solution to an existing Client base.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed analysis of technical / functional requirements and market trends
- Create Agile user stories for the development team
- Own the backlog, prioritise feature development
- Analyse and manage functional & non-functional requirements – including planning, prioritizing, and tracking work.
- Manage development teams deliverables in a fast moving environment
- Coordinate release planning
- Maintain knowledge of various payment methods & processing flows, card brand regulations, technology and competitive trends in the electronic payment industry.
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager
- Experience in payments technology is required
- Understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
