Senior Product Manager, Machine Learning & Data Hygiene

As a Senior Product Manager, you will set the vision for growth in your product layer, and execute against ambitious goals. Senior Product Managers at HubSpot operate in embedded product models and succeed by collaborating with partners across Engineering, Design, Research, and Analytics to make the most impactful decisions to delight our customers. We’re looking for experienced product managers to join our team. This role is within HubSpot’s Artificial Intelligence product group, where you will be working closely with HubSpot’s Machine Learning team. Experience with applied ML products is helpful but not required.

About the Data Quality team: The mission of this team is to give businesses confidence in their data. This team is focused on building greenfield products to diagnose and action the state of a business’s CRM data as well as supporting existing AI-powered data hygiene applications including CRM deduplication, HubSpot Insights (our company enrichment product), and the email signature parsing product. This mission is in a highly strategic state to help set the vision for how data quality should be identified and managed across HubSpot products including CRM, reporting, and automation (HubSpot Workflows). 

Marketers self-reportedly spend almost a third of their time managing data quality. It’s the top factor for the successful performance of their marketing efforts. But the more time spent managing data, the less time they have to create compelling content or build a strong community to reach potential customers. This team has the opportunity to solve one of the biggest problems facing our highest value customers. You’ll have a key role on a team in the discovery stage of how to surface, optimize, and automate data cleanup across the entire CRM platform, so marketers and operations professionals can save time, trust their data, and make better decisions for their business.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Drive our strategy, product roadmap & guide new product ideas from an initial concept all the way to product launch
  • Use data to identify opportunities to improve our customers’ experience, strategize to execute these changes, and partner with business stakeholders across HubSpot to make these solutions for our customers
  • Understand our customers and their journey through the product. Use your knowledge to impact product opportunities 
  • Utilize research and analytics to build delightful and innovative products

We are looking for people who have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the willingness to defend their ideas to key stakeholders
  • Healthy technical and interpersonal problem-solving skills. A background in operations, analytics, or data science would help candidates understand the core persona for this team. 
  • Proven leadership skills, and the ability to make decisions, test assumptions, and iterate - often without perfect information
  • Desire and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment
  • Confidence in representing the product organization internally and externally
  • Excellent communication and ability to clearly articulate vision
  • A creative approach to connecting customer feedback to product development 
  • A strong understanding of the competitive software space
  • A desire to move quickly and grow in a fast-paced environment
