Senior Product Designer- Remote/Hybrid ( one or 2 days in the office a Month)
Due to their continued success our Dublin based client are now recruiting for a senior product designer to lead their Search product. The successful candidate will deliver simple intuitive UX/UI to focus on saving time for busy research staff and investigators at the point of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take the lead on producing elegant and simple prototypes for our client’s Search product area.
- Use your full range of product, interaction, and visual design skills to create end-to-end product designs, including workflows and interactions.
- Communicate designs concisely and clearly through design specifications, prototypes and other design deliverables to support product managers and engineering.
- Contribute to the usability of the product and features across the iterative product lifecycle from ideation, discovery, concept to delivery.
- Engage and collaborate with a team of designers, front-end developers, researchers, technical writers, and product managers to build user experiences in your product area.
- Know when and how to use data to inform design decisions
- Coach and mentor junior and midweight designers and provide feedback and support across the product portfolio.
- Advocate for high quality design guidelines, best practices and standards across the design and engineering teams to promote continuous improvement.
- Identify usability issues and make recommendations to improve the quality and consistency of the product experience.
- 5 years plus experience as a Web/Mobile Product Designer or related role.
- An excellent portfolio to demonstrate strong foundations in visual design, user experience, and mobile interactions.
- UX & UI experience
- End-to-end design skills from ideation to high-fidelity visuals and prototyping skills.
- Strong understanding of usability principles, mobile design best practices, cross-browser best practices, modern web design principles.
- Experience working with other designers, mentoring and sharing new ideas or skillsets, coaching junior designers.
- Experience working with product and engineering teams.
- Experience with software tools for design creation and collaboration.
- Experience with agile (scrum) development.
