Senior Microsoft Consultant

As the Senior Microsoft Consultant, you will be designing, implementing, and transition a high profile customers IT systems from on-prem to O365/Teams/Onedrive/Virtual Desktops. The candidate will guide governance discussions, requirements gathering, analysis, and propose technical solutions to implement, monitor, and maintain long term compliance with tenant baseline configurations.

The successful team member will lead the effort enabling secure collaboration capabilities across a number of teams. To facilitate this effort, the candidate should have extensive experience developing enterprise solutions across all O365 core services (Teams, Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the solution design, development, testing and implementation of an enterprise Office 365 migration
  • Lead technical discussions with senior client executives that drive decisions and implementation.
  • Lead initiatives as a technical expert and SME on enterprise projects pertaining to Active Directory, AD tools, certificates, system management, capacity planning, identity and access management solutions.
  • Act as Microsoft 365 Azure AD/Teams SME and escalation point
  • Develop engineering documentation including design artifacts and knowledge base articles
  • Participate in compliance and security reviews as necessary including working closely with internal teams to build security, reliability, and scalability into the Microsoft 365 architecture.
  • Deliver an O365 roadmap and lead targeted efforts in gaining technical consensus and executing Office 365 strategies for the enterprise.
  • 8+ of relevant experience in Architecture and designing solutions, Migrating O365/Active Directory/Azure AD
  • Must have strong hands-on experience working on Azure AD (Azure Active Directory)
  • A full understanding of the Microsoft 365 and Teams technology stack: this includes SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Intune etc
  • Strong proficiency in all technical aspects of Office 365 implementation and Azure Active Directory (AD) services is a prerequisite for the successful candidate.
  • Hands on experience with implementation, deployment, migration, and support of core O365 services, including (but not limited to):
  • Teams - including support for PC and Mobile Devices and integration with other O365 applications (OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.), chat/meetings, voice integration
  • OneDrive - including collaboration and file sharing across PC and Mobile Devices
  • Strong Communication Skills - be able to expresses key ideas and obtain tangible feedback from cross-functional team members and stakeholders.
