Senior Experience Designer

Q Branch is a team of designers and developers dedicated to delivering transformative visions in pre-sales.

We are looking for an ambitious and self-motivated individual to contribute to the Experience Design team in Q Branch as a Senior Experience Designer spending about 80% of their time on UI design related tasks and about 20% in the UX realm helping to test our output and performing HCI related research tasks when we develop new tools. Ideal candidates have a passion for exceptional design, innovation and teamwork!

Individuals in this role will collaborate closely with our strategists, presentation designers, developers and account teams to define and bring to life a common vision by articulating complex concepts through Hi-Fi prototypes, Hi-Fi UI interaction screens, flow & architecture graphics, media, and new experiences we’ve never tackled before as we seek to inspire and excite our audiences in every pitch we engage on.

Minimum Qualifications:

A versatile and passionate problem solver, that owns the conception, delivery and execution of UX and UI for future looking and ambitious customer visions.

Translate complex information and story based interactions into dynamic experiences that excite customers

Help develop, contribute to & maintain asset and pattern libraries

Demonstrate your design skills to propose & develop solutions that align with goals, meet deadlines and exceed customer expectations

Champion the value and standard methodology of User Experience Design (UX), User Interface Design (UI) and the Salesforce brand with account teams

Hunger for and experience in bring to bear every aspect of the user-centered design process to tackle complex problems

Opportunistically apply HCI thinking and concepts to our process to help improve our output though Qualitative and Quantitative analysis methods

Ability to define projects and measures of success, test your assumptions and outcomes, and continuously incorporate feedback

A design addict, always looking to learn, always interested in developing new skills. At the forefront of the latest technologies and trends that will enhance and transform user experience.

 

Professional Experience and Skills

3-5 years of relevant work experience with a marketing, branding or agency in a graphic design related position demonstrating BOTH a keen design eye for omni-fidelity UI work and the know how to opportunistically apply user testing methods where needed

Incredible attention to detail and and the ability to do polished UI design mockups is a must

Strong understanding of interaction design patterns related to web and mobile form factors

Professional level skills with Figma, Framer X, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite and Google Slides

Ability to lead, manage and implement multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills

Hard-working, ready to learn and collaborate

A strong portfolio featuring examples of your visual/interaction design work and process

 

Pluses that will expand opportunities for you to contribute on the team include:

Quantitative & Qualitative testing methods and analysis to help improve our output

The ability to read or lightly modify HTML & CSS when prototyping or speaking with developers

Project Management skills to help keep complex projects organized

Experience organizing, and advocacy for, Digital Asset Management tools to speed sharing and access across a team
