We’re looking for a strong candidate who has an interest in a challenging and rewarding career through assisting the Team in executing on its key responsibilities which include:
- Risk reporting to senior Executive, Board committees and external regulators;
- Maintaining and developing AIB’s overall risk management and control architecture; including Risk frameworks and policies;
- Providing Risk oversight of key AIB wide projects such as Recovery & Resolution planning;
- Providing risk oversight of key subsidiaries, joint ventures and foreign branches;
- Leading and collating the risk view for ad-hoc projects; and,
- Maintaining the Risk Management Framework for the Group.
- Experience in financial services (minimum 3 years), ideally but not necessarily in a Bank Risk function;
- An understanding of the banking business model and how it link to the broader economic and regulatory environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (underpinned by strong Microsoft Office skills).
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a small team, with attention to detail, completing tasks to a high standard within agreed deadlines.
