Technical Lead/ Manager

Senior Engineering Manager - Search

Twitter is serving the public conversation, and conversations are happening on Twitter every day about every subject and any event. The Make Everything Searchable team’s job is to help users find the conversation they are looking for, whether it is taking place in Topics, in Spaces, on Profiles or in the next new Twitter product. We are responsible for building the Search experience and ranking the final set of results Twitter users see when they Search.

We are a full stack team whose projects cross a wide range of fields: we work on new user experiences in the Twitter apps, we integrate new primitives into our Search APIs, and are building the system that performs the final ranking of tweets, accounts, and other nouns in search results. In all the areas we work, we use data and experimentation to inform and drive the features we develop.
