About the Role
The Quality Assurance Engineer will develop, modify, and execute software test plans, automated scripts and programs for testing. They debug software products through the use of systematic tests to apply and maintain quality standards for Workday's products. The Quality Assurance Engineer will also ensure that system tests are successfully completed, documented and resolved.
About You
- Define, write and maintain thorough test plans for the product testware
- Assist in determining test methodology and test data setup
- Build and execute acceptance, regression and end-to-end scenarios
- Collaborate with cross teams to implement best quality strategy
- Become functional product expert acting as a customer advocate and testing with end-user perspective
- Active participation in all Agile Scrum ceremonies
- Work closely with Product owners and developers to provide input into automation deliverables
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or a related field is an asset
- 5+ years of hands-on quality assurance testing
- Ability to learn automation and function as hybrid on both functional testing and automation
- Experience with integration technologies, such as SOAP and REST API’s
Other Qualifications
- Agile experience and understanding the QA role within the model
- Enterprise Applications testing experience is a bonus
- Be process and detail oriented
- Clear interpersonal communication skills
