An opportunity has arisen for an experienced QA Tester to join a global Financial Services company as they continue to grow their centre of excellence function in Dublin, Ireland. You as QA Tester will be responsible for testing and delivering software to accomplish business outcomes. The QA Test role will see you collaborating with business partners and their teams on the delivery of Capital and Reporting projects(COREP,Statistical and Anacredit)
About you:
We would like to hear from professionals with a strong background in Financial Services as this role sits with a Tier 1 investment bank. You will bring proven ability to implement solutions to identify quality problems along with effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance of Web/Windows based applications is desired
- Experience in a test role in a Tier 1 Investment firm is desired
- Desirable: a good working knowledge of AXIOM platform
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with Finance Tech team to integrate test automation into building/packaging pipelines.
- Identifying appropriate test scenarios including relevant edge and error cases.
- Consider every possible scenario during exploratory testing and can spot bugs that others might not notice.
- Champion best practices for testing within an organization. Ensuring the team meets the desired business acceptance criteria of each story.
