My Dublin based client is recruiting for a QA Test Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis. This role will be remote working initially. The candidate will be responsible for product testing and quality management of their products. Working as part of the R&D team you will be responsible for ongoing testing, this will include both manual and automation testing.
Job Responsibilities
- Work with engineers to identify test criteria & develop test planning & documentation.
- Test products & services including electronics, firmware, mobile Apps & cloud services
- Setup hardware/firmware test environments in support of product testing
- Automate testing where possible
- Verify issues reported by customers & product management
Experience Required
- Manual and Automation testing experience
- Strong knowledge of PC’s and experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Good understanding of networking and IT
- Experience in an R&D Test environment
- Ability to write high quality test
- Must be a systematic thinker who uses data to drive decision
Essential and Desirable Skills

Educational Requirements
Diploma or degree in electronics or related
- Good understanding of electronics and ability to find faults in electronic
