As a Test Analyst you will debug software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for our product. You will develop, modify and execute software test plans. You will analyze and write test standards and procedures, maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software and much more.

We are looking for motivated and innovative QA interns/graduates to join our team. The successful candidate will be working with and supporting enterprise applications, utilising the latest technologies and frameworks. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge and understanding of the software development lifecycle and an enthusiasm for application development.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Working as part of a collaborative QA team with responsibility for delivering client projects
  • Analyse and understand requirements documentation to identify testing scope
  • Develop functional and non-functional test cases
  • Execute and enhance test cases using latest tools and technologies
  • Raise and track defects through to closure
  • Leverage real time Test Management software (AzDO,TFS) for high software quality
  • Contribute to defect triage discussions
  • Contribute to improving quality software deliveries
  • Collaborate with multiple teams across the delivery team
  • Exposure to automation testing tools
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement
  • Involved in regression, migration and integration testing
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained at all times

Requirements

Experience & Skills

  • Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Understanding of testing methodologies & management tools
  • Willingness to collaborate, embrace change and improve processes
  • Ability to approach problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm and innovation
  • Customer focus
  • Desire to learn and use the latest tools and technologies
  • Work placement in an IT related role desirable
  • Project work desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education

  • Degree or Diploma in Computing or similar related qualification (or currently studying for Intern positions)
  • ISTQB or some similar related qualification advantageous
