About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

As a QA Engineer, and key member of the software development process at Toast, these are some of the activities you will be engaged with:

• Managing the testing process in an agile workflow
• Creating and executing comprehensive test plans for new features
• Participating with the whole QA team in regularly scheduled release testing cycles
• Using Jira to log and update defects that are identified during testing
• Working collaboratively with team members to triage and prioritize defects
• Participating in test design reviews to ensure technical implementations are properly tested
• Working closely with product managers, developers and designers to understand customer requirements 
• Staying current with latest QA tools, trends and practices

• 3 years plus experience in a QA Engineer role
• Experience writing and executing test plans (manual and automated)
• Knowledge of SQL and database structure
• Strong communication skills - verbal and written
• Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment
• Android knowledge a plus!
• Experience with API testing a plus!
• Agile experience a plus!
• Hospitality experience a plus!
