Project / Programme Manager Role and Responsibilities:
This role will see the successful candidates managing and delivering the IT portion of projects and programmes
What’s involved:
- Responsible for delivery IT projects
- Working with internal IT infrastructure, architecture, and security teams.
- Identifying and driving problem solving
- Issue management
- Building relationships with the end client
- Engaging stakeholders
- Preparing and presenting project analysis and insights
- 5+ years IT Project Management experience
- Have a proven track record of IT delivery of large-scale complex change programmes ideally in a financial services environment
- Have a proven ability to be able to take a ‘big picture’ delivery and project management view as well as being able to work at a detailed level across a broad range of contract types and engagement approaches
- Experience leading IT change projects with a range of streams, partners and technologies (incl. IT infrastructure, IT Security, IT Operations, IT applications etc.) across the full delivery lifecycle
- Strong presentation skills
- At least one accreditation and practitioner experience of a range of Project Management qualification (PRINCE II, PMI, or equivalent to professional standard).
