Project Manager

Bluefin Payment Systems is looking for a remote Project Manager to join their PMO function. The successful candidate will be involved in delivering technology solutions to internal and external clients. The role will require the candidate to have strong problem-solving skills and support with project delivery management, risk management, resource scheduling, metric reporting etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Responsible for managing projects with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Internal projects will involve managing projects with elements from across the organization including product, sales, technology, and operations
  • External client projects will include creating custom solutions, solution integrations, and provision of services
  • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure appropriate project scope and requirements are created, maintained, and archived appropriately.
  • Create project plans in conjunction with external clients and internal managers
  • Work with function leads to schedule resource assignments
  • Conduct weekly or as-needed review meetings for all projects
  • Track and report progress against the timelines in those project plans
  • Provide project documentation and weekly project updates

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • At least five (5) years of experience managing successful IT Product delivery projects ideally within the payments industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to create collaborative working environments
  • Ability to coordinate deliverables in a cross functional environment
  • Ability to lead meetings with client representatives and internal business unit managers
  • Produce formal project management documentation and reporting
  • Work in a client services focused organization.
  • Experience managing teams comprised of both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with web-based project management and collaboration tools
  • Experience working in the payment processing industry an advantage.
  • Experience delivering technology solutions
  • A Project Management Qualification (e.g Prince 2, PMP) or at least 5 years of managing projects in an environment using a structured Project Management approach.
