My Dublin based client is currently hiring for an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Opportunity to join a company that is growing and building a strong team
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver solutions for digital OSS/BSS and network functions and Big Data solutions
- Consult with customers, architect solutions, deliver and offer post deployment support
- Take responsibility for the entire development cycle
- Deliver integration projects to end customers
- Monitor and report to the senior management on the progression of projects
- Work closely with different departments in the business including Developers, Sales and Commercial
- May have to make presentations to customers/stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience Required
- Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in the Telco industry
- some of which must be in a Team Lead or Project Management role
- Understanding of UNIX/Linux operating systems would be beneficial
- Good working knowledge of telecoms applications and protocols
- Play a leading role in new business initiatives and projects
- Proven experience managing multiple projects
- Agile Lean experience
- Understanding of DevOps methodologies
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
Essential and Desirable Skills
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to provide strong leadership and direction to a project team
- Have the ability to set project priorities and adjust when required
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
- Project Management qualifications/certifications is a plus
- 37.5 hours per week
