As a core member of our EMO IT team you will work with dedicated professionals to ensure our clients maintain access to their critical information assets while keeping Citco ahead of industry trends.

Your Role:

  • You will lead daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, demo’s sprint/release planning, and story mapping sessions.
  • You will work closely with product owner and the scrum team to develop and maintain a project story map that defines the minimum viable product.
  • You will oversee all activities from a software development life cycle perspective including budget planning, scheduling, tracking, initiatiation, build, test, and release.
  • You possess experience working with teams using continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automated testing.
  • You will utilize your strong coaching and mentorship skills in order to build a collaborative, productive, and engaged team environment.
  • You will anticipate and address potential or actual impediments to team delivery and administer metrics tracking and other duties on behalf of the team.
  • You will need to manage/engage expectations of Senior Management Stakeholders (i.e., chairing/facilitating Steering Committees) and providing weekly status reports
  • You will need to manage/mitigate risks and/or cross-project dependencies (Scrum of Scrums)
  • You will help break down organizational silos and promote collaborations

About You:

  • You have minimum of 5 years of experience with in-house application development and Agile/Scrum experience preferably in a financial institution environment
  • You have knowledge of AWS preferred
  • You have some DevOps experience
  • You have a minimum of 3 – 5 years of solid practical experience in managing complex projects
  • You are recognized Scrum Master certification is highly desirable (e.g., CSM)
  • You have knowledge and experience of SDLC frameworks such as Waterfall and Agile
  • You have knowledge of agile development best practices, and experience of with project management tools such as Jira
  • You have demonstrated knowledge and skills in the following competencies: project management, information technology, creativity, business analysis, data analytics, problem solving, change/release management, multi-tasking and service management
  • You have demonstrated strong proficiency in interpersonal/communication skills including oral and written English
  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems or equivalent
  • You are effective planning and organizational experience to set priorities and coordinate projects t meet deadlines with a fast pace environment.
  • You have the availability and willingness to travel occasionally to other Citco locations
