Technology Project Manager

Deloitte currently have permanent career opportunities for experienced Programme and Project Managers and Senior Managers within the Technology Consulting team. Working on programmes or projects, you will be continually encouraged to work with our team to devise innovative solutions, to help our clients manage and deliver technology projects. You will continue to develop your skill set across industry sectors as you work on diverse and varied projects, helping our clients transform or develop and deliver their technology strategy. Your role as a Manager, will focus on the management and delivery of client engagements. In this role, you will develop high-performing people and teams, leading and supporting them to make an impact that matters, and setting the direction to deliver exceptional client service and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead in partnering with clients to solve complex issues through leading teams and managing software implementation projects throughout the full lifecycle
• Develop and lead project plans for client engagements and be accountable for achieving defined programme outcomes
• Work with a range of senior stakeholders both internally within Deloitte and in client organisations, at all levels including the C-suite, as a subject matter expert on Programme Leadership
• Apply a combination of consulting experience, industry insight, tools and technology to anticipate and address programme challenges with client and colleague teams
• Lead teams of significant scale from across different parts of Deloitte, clients and other partners to deliver complex implementation programmes and critical outcomes

• Over 6 years’ experience as a project manager leading complex technology implementation projects in a client environment
• Proven and demonstrable experience of successfully delivering projects of over €5m
• Excellent senior C-suite stakeholder management experience
• Experience in Agile implementation methodologies
• Proven ability to lead and manage multi-functional working teams who are distributed across various locations, providing coaching and support to ensure team’s continuous development
• Dedicated to continuous learning and interested in building fluency across technologies
• Professional project management certification (e.g. Prince2)
• Experience in coaching and developing team members across different disciplines (architecture, software development, DevOps, business analysis and test)
• Ideally coming from a technology consulting background with previous experience as either a software developer or business analyst
